WAREHOUSE LEAD

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Warehouse Lead
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay Rate:  up to $21.00 per hour
Location: Central Columbus, Ohio

Position Summary

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and production operations by operating labeling equipment, accurately measuring and mixing ingredients, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring production goals are met. This position requires a dependable, hardworking individual with strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate labeling and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to production specifications.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure proper measurements and quantities.
• Maintain quality standards by inspecting products for accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with organizing inventory, materials, and finished products.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support daily production goals and assist team members as needed.
• Report equipment issues, inventory discrepancies, or production concerns to management.
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Demonstrate initiative and a strong work ethic while helping maintain an efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Leadership or lead experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to operate warehouse and production equipment after training.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in a warehouse and production environment.
