Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to support business-to-business manufacturing customers. This role involves assisting customers with product questions, pricing, availability, order entry, and delivery status while working closely with suppliers and the outside sales team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a team-based environment.

Pay: Starting at $20/hr

Location: Belton, TX

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer phone calls and emails with accurate and timely information
• Process customer orders and prepare quotations
• Handle customer requests regarding pricing, availability, and delivery status
• Contact vendors to obtain product pricing and availability
• Support outside sales representatives and maintain strong internal communication
• Learn and utilize the order management system effectively
• Develop a thorough understanding of products and services
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and files
• Communicate customer issues, concerns, and feedback to management
• Assist in other areas as needed, including shipping, warehouse support, and inventory counts

Requirements

• 2+ years of direct business-to-business (B2B) experience
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of basic business math
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a small team
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and take initiative
