Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30am

$19hr to $23hr depending on experience.

Technology manufacturer in Sun Valley specializing in the design, production, and support of biomedical tools like vital signs monitors and patient simulators, is looking for Logistics Specialist to join their team.

Summary: Logistics Specialist has main responsibility for shipping, receiving, inventory, outside labor kitting, QA, filing, and providing general support to production, service and administration.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work from written work instructions, drawings and procedures.
• Mixing of epoxies for chemical use.
• Making decisions in fitting and adjustment of parts within established guidelines to achieve the required specifications.
• Performs testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
• Maintain manual receiving log.
• Receiving inspection as defined in the quality system.
• Electronically receiving parts.
• Maintenance and counting of inventory. Notify supervisor in a timely manner if supplies are running low.
• Final kitting and packaging for customer shipments.
• Pulling outside labor bundles.
• Monitor back door of facility.
• Quality assurance.
• Device History file maintenance.
• Process international and domestic shipping labels and documents.
• Pulling Production Kits.
• Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Strict adherence to our quality system including confidentiality and impartiality.
• General housekeeping of workspace.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work with limited supervision and follows written and verbal instructions.
• Cover for absent staff or where volume dictates additional labor.
• Any other work deemed necessary by supervisor or manager.
• Thoughtful and accurate maintenance of the stockroom.
• Notifying management when inventory levels are low.
• Training team members as requested.

Qualifications:

• Ability to type 25+ words per minute.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain environment.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to use hand tools for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to work with small parts.
