Water Shift Operator

Located in Korbel, CA

Salary: $25.00 - $50.00 DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Temporary Water Operations Technician to provide coverage for a local water system during scheduled employee absences. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with water treatment or plumbing experience looking for flexible, as-needed work.

This temporary position primarily provides coverage for occasional long weekends and full-week absences, with the potential for additional hours on plumbing-related projects based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate water system pumps by turning them on and off as directed.
• Read and record water meter readings.
• Perform chlorine residual testing using approved testing equipment.
• Accurately complete state-required operational logs and documentation.
• Follow established procedures and report any concerns or irregularities immediately.
• Maintain accurate records with clear, legible handwriting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a drinking water treatment and/or distribution system (preferred but not required).
• Plumbing experience is a strong plus and may lead to additional work opportunities.
