Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Butcher for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in meat cutting, processing, and preparation, with a strong commitment to quality, food safety, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, debone, and prepare meat products according to specifications.
- Portion, package, and label products accurately.
- Operate meat processing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper product storage and rotation.
- Assist with custom cuts and customer orders as needed.
Qualifications
- 4-5 years of butcher experience required.
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts and processing techniques.
- Ability to safely operate meat-cutting equipment and hand tools.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a refrigerated environment.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
