Job Summary

A local manufacturing company is seeking dependable General Laborers to assist with the production of precast concrete products used in commercial and municipal construction projects. This position involves working outdoors and in a production yard environment, helping prepare molds, pour concrete, strip finished products, and assist with general labor duties throughout the facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with the setup, preparation, and cleaning of concrete forms and molds.
Help pour, spread, and finish concrete into various casting molds.
Assist with stripping and removing finished concrete products from molds.
Work alongside equipment operators during the lifting, moving, and staging of concrete products.
Clean work areas, tools, molds, and production equipment.
Perform material handling and general labor duties as assigned.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE while working in the production yard.
Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials as needed.

Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Dependable with reliable transportation.
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.
Ability to work around concrete, machinery, and industrial equipment.
Ability to perform physical labor for the duration of the shift.

Work Environment

Outdoor and production yard setting.
Exposure to dust, concrete materials, and changing weather conditions.
Steel-toed boots required.
Equipment such as cranes, hoists, and other lifting machinery are used to move and position concrete products.
