    Express Employment Professionals is hiring Safety Lane Technicians for a growing transportation company in Mesquite, TX. This is a hands-on role working with company-owned trucks to ensure safety and operational readiness.

    Pay & Schedule

    • $19.00/hour (increase to $20/hr upon permanent hire)
    • Temp-to-hire opportunity

     

    Two schedule options available:

    • Option 1: 5 days/week (40 hrs)

      • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Tues-Sat; Days off: Sunday & Monday

    Job Responsibilities

    • Inspect trucks in safety lane upon arrival
    • Check undercarriage, roof, wheels, tires, lights, and overall condition
    • Identify safety or mechanical issues
    • Flag trucks for repair when needed
    • Assist with basic tasks such as changing tires/wheels
    • Maintain a safe and organized work area

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred – Spanish-only candidates welcome
    • Strong work ethic – dependable and consistent
    • Willingness to learn and work outdoors/in a shop environment
    • Mechanically inclined is a plus (not required)
