Our client, a staffing leader that deals with large events, is looking for Forklift Operators for a special one-day assignment!

Responsibilities:

• Operate counterbalance forklift to safely load and unload equipment, staging components, lighting, and sound equipment
• Transport large equipment carriers, road cases, and totes between loading docks
• Assist with the post-event tear down and removal of concert staging and production equipment
• Ensure all equipment is handled carefully to prevent damage during loading and transportation
• Follow load plans and supervisor instructions to ensure efficient truck loading
• Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and report any equipment concerns
• Maintain a safe work environment while following all site and event safety protocols
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License
• 1-2 years of Forklift Operation experience (Counterbalance)
• PPE Required: Hard hat, steel toe boots, high visibility vest, safety gloves
• Previous experience loading and unloading large trailers and transport trucks
• Strong awareness of workplace safety procedures
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs

Bonus Qualifications:

• Valid Reach Forklift License (asset)
• Previous experience supporting concerts, festivals, live events, or stage productions (asset)
• Experience loading road cases, staging equipment, lighting systems, or audio equipment (asset)

 Compensation and Hours:

• Wednesday: 10:00pm to 5:00am (possibility of longer shift)
• Pay rate: $26 per hour
