Express Employment is seeking sit down forklift operators for a great company in Shepherdsville. We have all shift available. 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely: Drive and maneuver a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, stack, and count merchandise and materials 

• Transport goods: Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods between storage areas, production lines, and loading docks

• Loading/unloading: Efficiently load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, trailers, and containers, verifying shipment accuracy and integrity 

• Inventory management: Use RF scanning and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movement and maintain real-time data accuracy 

• Storage & staging: Stack and store pallets in designated locations, maximizing space utilization and maintaining organized racks 

• Order preparation: Pull, prepare, and stage products for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type match packing lists or shipping documents 

• Damage reporting: Notify supervisors immediately of product damage, quality issues, or inventory discrepancies.

• Safety compliance: Follow OSHA regulations, company safety protocols, and standard operating procedures to maintain a secure workplace 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid forklift operation certificate or training 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, often physically demanding environment  

• Attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Basic computer literacy for WMS/RF systems 

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
