Shift: 8am-4pm or 12am-8am
Pay: $20-$22hr. 

Responsibilities: 

• Cut Materials: Run the band saw to shape and size raw materials like steel, aluminum, or wood based on work orders
• Read Blueprints: Check cut lists, basic drawings, or job sheets for correct dimensions
• Measure and Inspect: Use tape measures, rulers, and calipers to verify cut accuracy.
• Material Handling: Move heavy stock using hand trucks, forklifts, or overhead cranes (training provided)
• Basic Setup: Change saw blades, adjust speeds, and turn on coolant valves
• Maintain Safety: Wear required safety gear and keep the work area clean.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Math Skills: Basic math and ability to read a tape measure down to fractions and decimals
• Mechanical Aptitude: Eagerness to learn power tools and industrial shop machinery
• Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds
• Work Ethic: Good attention to detail and ability to follow safety rules
