Outdoor Equipment Testing Technician

Location: Clermont, FL
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

We're hiring an Outdoor Equipment Test Technician to join one of the world's leading manufacturers of irrigation products. Every day is different as you'll evaluate new products, troubleshoot equipment, and help ensure industry-leading irrigation systems perform to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

Working mostly outdoors, you'll:

• Test irrigation products and equipment for quality, performance, and reliability
• Operate electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Install, assemble, and troubleshoot testing equipment
• Record test results using computers, spreadsheets, and testing software
• Identify product issues and document findings
• Assist engineers and product development teams with specialized testing
• Maintain testing equipment and work areas
• Follow all quality and safety procedures

Qualifications

• At least one year of mechanical, maintenance, manufacturing, landscaping, irrigation, construction, or related experience
• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Eager to learn and grow
