We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with hands-on experience using Autodesk Fusion 360 to create, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision machining operations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and CNC equipment, and can work closely with engineering and production teams to deliver high-quality components.
Pay rate : $30/hour - $40/hour ( based on experience)

Duties
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling and lathe machines using Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software to meet engineering specifications and production deadlines.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Set up CNC machines, including Fanuc controls, ensuring proper calibration and tooling alignment.
- Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and related equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
- Conduct test runs of programs, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to improve performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, and machining parameters for quality control and repeatability.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams to refine designs for manufacturability.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions during setup and production.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Assist with assembly, welding, or other secondary operations as needed within the manufacturing workflow.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in CNC programming with Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Proficiency in operating Fanuc controls on CNC machines.
- Experience programming 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD models.
- Knowledge of G-code and CNC machine operations.
- Understanding of tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for collaborating across departments effectively.
- 2–5+ years of CNC programming experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, Siemens, or Okuma CNC controls.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Trade certification or diploma in CNC machining, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering technology.
