Materials Analyst (Contract)

Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Analyst to support our client's operations by analyzing historical material usage, creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assisting with inventory planning and purchasing activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ERP/MRP experience who enjoys working with data, inventory, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review historical order transactions to identify parts used and consumed.
• Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and part numbers within the ERP/MRP system.
• Analyze material history and transaction data to ensure BOM accuracy.
• Review and establish appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels for purchased parts and kits.
• Assist with purchasing activities by researching supplier pricing and lead times for materials and components.
• Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, and production teams to support material planning and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain accurate material and inventory records within the ERP/MRP system.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with an ERP or MRP system is required.
• Experience creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and part numbers.
• Ability to review and analyze part history, inventory transactions, and material usage.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Manufacturing, inventory, materials planning, or purchasing experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
• Duration: 6-month contract assignment
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
