We're hiring a Production Operator to support a high-tech manufacturing process involving batch mixing, chemical processing, coating operations, quality inspections, and production equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in manufacturing, chemical production, industrial mixing, coatings, machine operation, or process manufacturing who are looking to develop specialized technical skills.

The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and mentorship from an experienced Global Quality Manager, providing a unique opportunity to build expertise in quality control, process monitoring, batch mixing, product formulation, and advanced manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production materials by accurately weighing and mixing ingredients according to work instructions.
• Operate industrial mixers, pumps, coating equipment, and related production machinery.
• Perform quality checks, including viscosity, pH, particle size distribution (PSD), and other production measurements.
• Load, coat, inspect, and label manufactured components while maintaining product traceability.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and contamination control practices.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas before, during, and after production.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing goals.

Additional Requirements

• This position requires occasional weekend and after-hours support to monitor extended production cycles.
• Certain products require 17–18 hour batch mixing processes, which may require returning outside of normal work hours to complete critical quality checks, including temperature monitoring, viscosity testing, PSD testing, and final batch verification.
• Flexibility and reliability are essential to ensure production quality and process completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, batch mixing, coatings, machine operation, or industrial production preferred.
• Ability to read and follow technical work instructions and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical production tasks throughout the shift.
