Key Responsibilities

• Creating detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for electrical systems 
• Conducting testing and evaluation of electrical equipment to ensure performance, safety, and reliability 
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with electrical systems, components, and equipment 
• Supervising or coordinating manufacturing, installation, and maintenance activities 
• Performing calculations and using engineering software to design and optimize systems 
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements 
• Collaborating with project teams, technicians, and other engineers to implement solutions 
• Estimating costs for materials, labor, and construction to support budgeting and project planning

Required Skills and Qualifications

Electrical engineers need a combination of technical knowledge, analytical skills, and practical experience:

• Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuit design, and system integration 
• Proficiency with engineering software, design tools, and testing equipment
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for complex electrical challenges attention to detail for precise calculations, testing, and documentation 
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams 
•  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, with some roles preferring advanced degrees or professional certifications
