Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for daily food production, including chopping, slicing, portioning, and measuring.
• Follow recipes and preparation guidelines accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
• Receive, label, and properly store food deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist line cooks and kitchen staff as needed during service.
• Monitor food quality and report any concerns to kitchen management.
• Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Prep Cook or similar position in a commercial kitchen required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and punctual.
