AZ Driver
Located in Sarnia, ON
Salary: $35.00/Hour
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in commercial driving and heavy equipment operations to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for delivery across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
- Assist with handling, including securing loads and verifying cargo accuracy
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operational readiness
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities
- Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly to management
Qualifications:
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, and heavy equipment operation preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation and automotive repair is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules
- Physical ability to load, unload, and secure freight, including lifting up to 50 pounds as required
Wage: $35.00/Hour
