Inside Sales / Office Support

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $20–$23 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Morning Shift (Start times may vary between 7:00 AM–8:00 AM and end times between 4:30 PM–5:00 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales / Office Support professional to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, supporting sales activities, and keeping daily office operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for customers, process orders and quotes, and provide administrative support in a fast-paced industrial distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inside Sales

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and lead times.
• Prepare and follow up on customer quotes.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Support customers by identifying products and solutions that meet their needs.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain product and order information.
• Assist outside sales representatives with account support and customer follow-up.
• Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers.

Office Support

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails professionally.
• Perform data entry, filing, and general administrative duties.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
• Assist with purchase orders, invoicing, and other administrative functions.
• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory-related communications.
• Prepare reports and assist with branch operational needs.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient office environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, office administration, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with ERP systems and order entry software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
