 Bindery Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

• Monday - Friday 1:30pm - 10:00pm
• $17.50 per hour starting wage

The Bindery Machine Operator is responsible for operating a variety of specialized bindery machines to transform the printed material coming from the Press Department into a finished product.

Job Duties Include:

• Read work orders to determine instructions & specifications for machine set-up
• Set-up & operation of bindery machines:
  • Maintain, adjust, & set up equipment
  • Fold stock on any folder
  • Set up & cut material according to specifications
  • Perforate or score materials
• Follow safety precautions
• Maintain awareness of machine's operation to avoid product waste and/or machine break down

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of production processes & quality controls
• Mechanical aptitude 
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, & twist in one place for extended periods of time
• Ability to operate (or learn to operate) forklift, power dollies, hand dollies, & paper cutters
• Lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout shift
