Automation Technician

Location: Fort Worth (Alliance Area), TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday
Pay: $25.00/hour

Position Overview

A growing electronics manufacturing company in the Alliance area is looking for an Automation Technician to join their team. This position is responsible for keeping automated production equipment running by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting new equipment installations. This is a hands-on role working with conveyors, pneumatic systems, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on automated production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment
Help install and set up new automation equipment
Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Support production by minimizing equipment downtime
Maintain maintenance records and documentation
Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
At least 1 year of maintenance or automation experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Able to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Experience with conveyors, robotics, or automated equipment is a plus
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around production equipment
