Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join a busy manufacturing facility in Round Rock. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials while safely operating a large-capacity forklift. Candidates must have previous forklift experience, excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

 

Location: Round Rock, TX
Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

 

 

Job Duties:

• Unload incoming materials and inspect shipments for visible damage.
• Verify shipment quantities against packing lists and report any shortages or discrepancies.
• Coordinate damage claims with the traffic/logistics department when needed.
• Move received materials to Quality Control and warehouse storage locations.
• Store inventory accurately and maintain organized material locations.
• Issue materials to the production floor for manufacturing work orders.
• Work with the Purchasing department to resolve receiving issues.
• Enter receiving, inventory, and material movement information into the computer system.
• Operate the automated stacker system to store and retrieve materials and NEMA motors.
• Pack and ship parts and NEMA motors, including hazardous materials when required.
• Assist Operations and Quality departments during high-volume periods.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain regular attendance.

 

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience required.
• Experience operating a large-capacity forklift is required. This forklift handles loads up to 110,000 lbs and has approximately 5-foot-tall tires.
• Basic computer skills for inventory transactions.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
