Full time – Temp to hire 

Monday through Friday: 2 weeks training at 6am to 2:30pm, then normal shift 9am to 5:30pm

$24hr to $26hr depending on experience.

Innovative manufacturer of highly engineered fluid and gas handling high pressure equipment designed to generate high pressures to store and control gases and liquids for a wide range of applications, is looking for Deburring Technician to join their team in Burbank.

Summary: The Deburr Tech refines and finishes precision-machined parts. They operate finishing machinery and use hand tools to remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface defects so components meet strict blueprint tolerances and are safe for assembly. Adheres to required Quality, Safety and ISO procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Deburr, polish, assemble, etch part numbers on machine and perform other various machine operations.
• Read blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions to determine cutting tools and sequence of operations.
• Position and secure deburring and cutting tools onto holding fixtures of machine, using hand tools.
• Adjust and change machine tools to ensure deburring meets company specifications.
• Work from blueprints and use hand grinders and common hand tools to grind and polish a variety of parts.
• Keep workstation clean and orderly.
• Verify starting materials are adequate prior to beginning to work.
• Responsible for quality of the finished product or services.
• Move incoming/outgoing material within the department.
• Follow all Company safety rules / JHA and safe work practices.

Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years of experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read prints
• Set-up & Tooling experience
• Good attention to detail and hand eye coordination
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical/Business School Certificate or other post high school training (2+ years’ duration) a plus.
