Monday through Friday - 6am to 2:30pm
$30hr to $40hr depending on experience.


A busy manufacturer and job shop foundry specializing in high quality Aluminum Die Casting and Zinc Die Casting using a unique Vacuum Die Casting Process is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic / Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team in Sun Valley.

Summary: The Maintenance Mechanic / Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving industrial manufacturing equipment throughout the facility. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to minimize equipment downtime, support production, and maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Perform machine disassembly, repair, reassembly, and equipment installations as required.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and associated components.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting on motors, motor controls, relays, contactors, sensors, limit switches, and control circuits.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and assist with electrical control system diagnostics.
  • Perform Arc and MIG welding and basic fabrication repairs as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment according to established schedules.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
  • Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory in an organized manner.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work at all times.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with Production, Engineering, and fellow Maintenance personnel regarding equipment status and repair priorities.
  • Document maintenance activities and repair accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 – 5 years of industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting: PLC programming experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Arc and MIG welding
  • Ability to diagnose and repair industrial manufacturing equipment efficiently.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
