Material Handler (A2271)

Salary: $21.00/hr

Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking dependable Material Handlers/Warehouse Associates for a short-term assignment with a growing company experiencing an increase in business. This is a 1-month assignment with the opportunity to gain valuable warehouse experience and the opportunity to extend LT based on attendance and performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Fill orders and distribute materials as requested.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZ-Go carts, hand trucks, and dollies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work independently while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
• Reach truck and order picker experience is helpful but not required.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 24 feet when operating an order picker.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and good time management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Dress Code

Wear pants or shorts with belt loops, a T-shirt or polo shirt, and steel-toe boots.
