Restoration Project Manager

 

Express Employment Professionals – St. Paul, MN is assisting a restoration company to fill a Restoration Project Manager position on their team. The position is located in the South Metro area around Austin, Albert Lea, etc.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Initial Scoping & Estimating: Perform site inspections for primarily residential and commercial losses. Use Xactimate to create accurate, profitable estimates that align with carrier guidelines.
• Crew Leadership: Manage a team of 3–8 technicians. Schedule daily "Production" boards and ensure crews have the proper equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, PPE) for every dispatch.
• Documentation Excellence: Audit "Job Files" daily. You must ensure moisture maps, daily readings, and photos are uploaded in real-time to satisfy the Audit Score requirements.
• Vendor & Adjuster Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for insurance adjusters. Negotiate "scoping" differences to ensure the franchise is fairly compensated for work performed.
• Emergency Response: Participate in the "On-Call" rotation. 

 

Required Qualifications

• Certifications: IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) is mandatory. ASD (Applied Structural Drying) and AMRT (Mold) are highly preferred.
• Software Mastery: 2+ years of experience with Xactimate (X1 or Desktop). Ability to sketch complex structures quickly.
• The "Minnesota Factor": Deep understanding of local building envelopes, ice dam mitigation, and cold-weather drying physics.
• Communication: Ability to explain the "drying process" to a stressed homeowner in a way that provides calm and clarity.
