Crate Assembler
Location: North Billerica, MA
Pay: $22-$24/hour
Position type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm, M-F (some schedule variation based on needs)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble/Build Small to Large Wooden Shipping Crates, Cushion Skids and Foam assemblies
• Measuring, Cutting, Use of Power Hand tools
• Packing the crates
• Maintain paperwork and production records performing simple mathematical calculations
• Occasionally help assemble crates off site with delivery team
• Assist other departments inside facility
• Heavy Lifting

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in carpentry work required especially experience with hand and power tools and various saws such as table, radial arm saw and chop.  
• Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility for changing demands
• Crate manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be able to read a tape
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds, climb step ladders (up to 6 feet)
• Stand and walk on concrete floors for an extended period
• Follow directions from team leaders: speak and read fluent English
