Brake Operator (2nd Class)

Salary: $20+/ hour

Job Opening Pittsburgh Shop Brake Operator (Second Class)

Shall have the ability to set up dies and perform all types of work generally done on the machine in the company’s plant on a power brake with a capacity less than 1000 tons. He or she must have the ability to read and interpret all types of blueprints and drawings required for such work with a minimum amount of supervision.

(However, a simple bending on bar stock and pipe or a two-stroke operation on one piece of material not requiring measurement may be performed by any of the company’s machine operators at their wage rate, if first set up by the power brake operator or other qualified Wage Group 1 or 2 employees.)

Rotating 1st and 2nd shift every 2 weeks

$20+/ hour based on experience
