Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Department: Human Resources / People & Culture

Reports To: Senior Director, People & Culture

About the Role

Are you passionate about helping people thrive at work while supporting organizational success? As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a key role in creating an exceptional employee experience and partnering with leaders to build engaged, high-performing teams.

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic HR guidance while fostering a positive, inclusive, and people-centered workplace culture. You'll collaborate with leaders across the organization to align people strategies with business goals, support employee development, and champion initiatives that drive engagement and retention.

What You'll Do

Strategic Partnership & Employee Support

  • Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and develop people strategies that support organizational success.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for managers and team members, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Build strong relationships across departments and help cultivate a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
  • Foster employee engagement initiatives that strengthen connection, morale, and organizational commitment. 

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Provide support and guidance in addressing employee relations matters with fairness, consistency, and professionalism.
  • Coach leaders on performance management practices, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
  • Assist with conflict resolution, investigations, and corrective action processes when needed.
  • Partner with leaders to develop and implement performance improvement plans that support employee success. 

Talent Development & Retention

  • Help create and implement strategies that attract, engage, and retain top talent.
  • Identify development opportunities and collaborate with Learning & Development teams to connect employees with relevant training resources.
  • Support career growth initiatives that empower employees to reach their full potential.
  • Promote programs that enhance employee satisfaction, growth, and retention. 

Compliance & HR Excellence

  • Stay informed on employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Help ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment guidelines.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote an inclusive and equitable workplace.
  • Use HR metrics and data to identify trends and support informed decision-making. 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Contribute to special projects and organizational initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties that support the success of the People & Culture team and organization. 

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (PHR or similar) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance people needs and business objectives.
  • Experience analyzing HR metrics and leveraging data to support decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus. 

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Current automobile insurance and reliable transportation.
  • Approved driving record.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to support team members and business operations. 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and move items up to 15 pounds.
  • Frequent walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and communicating with others.
  • Ability to manage moderate levels of workplace stress and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
