Brake Operator (First Class)

Salary: $20+/ hour

Job Opening Pittsburgh Shop Brake Operator (First Class)

Shall have the ability to set up dies and perform all types of work generally done on the machine in the company’s plant on a power brake with a capacity greater than 1000 tons. He or she must have the ability to read and interpret all types of blueprints and drawings required for such work with a minimum amount of supervision.

(However, a simple bending on bar stock and pipe or a two-stroke operation on one piece of material not requiring measurement may be performed by any of the company’s machine operators at their wage rate, if first set up by the power brake operator or other qualified Wage Group 1 employees.)

He or she shall also have the ability to set up and operate rolling and bending machines, including small plate rolls and tube benders.

2 weeks daylight, 2 weeks 2nd shift

$20/ hour or more based on experience
