In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining freight velocity—loading and unloading incoming and outgoing trailers, sorting shipments, and ensuring cargo is handled safely and efficiently.

What You Will Do

Safely load and unload freight from semi-trailers, box trucks, and shipping containers.

Use manual/electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and staging equipment to transport cargo across the dock floor.

Sort, scan, and stage shipments accurately by route, zip code, or destination bin.

Inspect inbound and outbound freight for damage, correct quantities, and proper labeling.

Secure freight inside trailers using straps, load bars, and dunnage to prevent transit damage.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cross-dock area free of debris and tripping hazards.
What You Need

Prior dock, freight handling, cross-dock, or warehouse loading experience preferred.

Experience operating pallet jacks (manual or powered) is a plus.

Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and move actively throughout your shift.

Steel-toe work boots required on the dock floor.

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a focus on dock safety.

Reliable transportation and dependable, punctual attendance every day.

Ability to pass standard background screening and drug testing requirements.
