Yard Material Handler

Located in San Antonio, TX

Salary: $18/hr

Our client, an irrigation supply company in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for a Yard Material Handler with Forklift Operations Capability for their yard operations. Pay is $18/hr. Hours are Mon-Fri:7am to 4pm.  Job duties for the Yard Worker include:

• Yard labor - working outdoors, material handling
• Handling and unloading 40ft long pipe bundles 
• Pulling and filling orders for loading
• Receiving, offloading trucks, stocking and storing merchandise
• Operating heavy equipment, forklift - sit down (10% to 20% of job) 

Requirements for the sit-down Yard Material Handler include:

• At least 2 years of recent experience in a sit-down forklift and experience in heavy equipment operating – previous certification preferred
• HS diploma or GED
• Motivated, dependable and safe in operation of the forklift
• Able to work outdoors - exposed to outside elements, hot/cold
