Position Summary

 

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver with Moffett experience to join our team in Fort Myers. This position is responsible for safely transporting pavers and related materials using a flatbed truck to customer locations and job sites. Drivers must be comfortable operating on both interstate highways and local in-town routes while maintaining safety, professionalism, and on-time delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A flatbed truck for deliveries throughout Fort Myers and surrounding areas
• Load, transport, and unload pavers, materials, and supplies in a safe and efficient manner
• Operate a Moffett forklift to unload materials at delivery sites
• Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and required documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, yard personnel, and customers
• Drive in both interstate and city/in-town traffic conditions
• Assist with yard or warehouse duties when needed
• Work overtime as required to meet business demands

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum 2 years of CDL flatbed driving experience
• Experience driving on both interstate highways and in-town/local routes
• Previous Moffett forklift experience required
• Clean driving record and strong commitment to safety
• Ability to lift, move, and secure heavy materials
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, load securement, and safe driving practices
• Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude

Preferred Skills

• Experience delivering construction, hardscape, or building materials
• Familiarity with the Fort Myers area and surrounding routes
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb in and out of truck and trailer frequently
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate equipment and handle physical aspects of deliveries
