Salary: $20 - $25/hour

We are currently working on a direct hire search for a technical Customer Service role for a company in the medical device industry, to work at their local Janesville office.

 

Candidates should have previous experience in the medical device or other related technical fields.

 

Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing post-sale technical assistance to customers, resolving product-related issues, supporting product testing and validation activities, and ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 Quality Management System requirements. This role demands a strong technical background in medical devices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

 

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer technical inquiries, complaints, and service requests related to medical devices.

• Handle inbound customer calls, emails, and remote/on-site support requests, ensuring timely resolution within defined SLAs.

• Log, track, and manage customer complaints through the complaint handling system in compliance with ISO 13485 procedures.

• Escalate unresolved or critical product issues to R&D, Quality, or Product Management teams with proper documentation.

• Provide clear and empathetic communication to customers regarding issue status, timelines, and corrective actions.

 

Qualifications:

• 2 or 4 year degree, or technical diploma- any relevant field
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to perform medical device troubleshooting with customers
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Software: MS Office, CRM / ERP systems

 

Schedule: Full-time, in office role in Janesville, WI

 

Pay: $20 - $25/hour starting.  Higher pay will be considered for candidates with stronger medical device experience
