Shipping Associate

 

Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; possible overtime
Location: Englewood, CO
Position Type: Contract

We are hiring a dependable Shipping Associate I to support warehouse and shipping operations in a safety-focused manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for pulling, packing, verifying, and shipping customer orders while maintaining accurate documentation and an organized work area.

The ideal candidate is comfortable using computers, scanning equipment, shipping software, and a sit-down forklift. This is a hands-on position for someone who works well with a team, follows instructions, and pays close attention to order accuracy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate pick lists and verify inventory availability
• Pull, pack, scan, and assemble customer orders
• Enter and verify shipping information
• Process FedEx and UPS shipments using shipping software
• Package orders according to customer specifications
• Prepare pallets, bills of lading, and carrier documentation
• Stage completed orders and assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Operate a sit-down forklift and other motorized equipment
• Verify incoming receipts for quantity and condition
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting
• Schedule delivery appointments and maintain receiving records
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One to three months of related warehouse or shipping experience preferred
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Basic computer and email skills
• Ability to use scanning equipment and shipping software
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
• Sit-down forklift experience preferred
• Ability to regularly lift 10 pounds, frequently lift 30 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
