This position is ideal for an innovative individual with a strong mechanical background who enjoys designing custom equipment, improving manufacturing processes, and collaborating with production teams from concept through completion.

Job Duties:

• Design and develop custom automated equipment and mechanical systems.
• Create and revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with production, fabrication, machining, and assembly teams to ensure projects are completed accurately.
• Review customer specifications and develop engineering solutions to meet project requirements.
• Prepare bills of materials (BOMs), layouts, and manufacturing drawings.
• Assist with product testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and company quality requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce production costs.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel throughout the production process.
• Communicate project progress with customers, vendors, and internal teams as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field preferred.
• Previous engineering experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar design programs.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication, machining, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and create engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Must meet all prescreening requirements.
