Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM (Overtime Available)
Type: Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is partnered with a local landscaping company that is seeking a Lawn Care Crew Member to join their team. This position involves performing lawn care and property maintenance services while working alongside a crew to keep residential and commercial properties looking their best. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and be a reliable team player.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing debris
• Prune shrubs, trees, and plants to maintain proper growth and appearance
• Weed and mulch landscape beds
• Remove leaves, debris, and other waste to maintain clean and attractive properties
• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Clean and properly store tools and equipment after use
• Assist with seasonal duties, including snow and ice removal
• Follow company safety procedures at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications:

• Ability to operate basic lawn care equipment (training provided if needed)
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Previous lawn care experience is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
