National Sales Manager

 

Full Time | Base Salary in the Low $60,000s + Commission | Monday-Friday 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to support and oversee daily sales operations while partnering with regional sales representatives to drive growth and improve performance. This position is responsible for sales reporting, lead management, territory development, customer support, and implementing sales strategies to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and distribute incoming sales leads to Regional Sales Representatives.
• Track lead follow-up and ensure timely customer response.
• Review sales activity reports and monitor team performance.
• Assist with territory planning and identify opportunities for market growth.
• Support the development of new sales channels and business opportunities.
• Analyze monthly and year-to-date sales performance against company goals.
• Prepare sales reports, presentations, and data for management meetings.
• Provide support to the sales team with quotes, product information, and customer inquiries.
• Assist customers by directing them to the appropriate sales representative.
• Attend regional trade shows as needed (approximately two per year).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business software.
• Ability to analyze sales data and prepare reports.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting an outside sales team.
• Strong customer service background.
