Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Fulfillment/Inventory Specialist. That will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring inventory transactions are processed correctly. This role works closely with receiving, production, warehouse, and purchasing teams to support efficient material flow and inventory accuracy throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, process-focused, and committed to maintaining organized and accurate inventory systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

•  Maintain accurate inventory records.
         
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits according to company procedures.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, surpluses, or potential stock issues.
• Process inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments.
• Ensure inventory locations are properly organized, labeled, and maintained.
• Support receiving and production teams to ensure material accuracy and availability.
• Analyze inventory data and prepare reports on inventory performance and accuracy.
• Assist with the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.

 

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, material management, or a related field. A MUST
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Strong process-focused mindset with the ability to follow and improve established procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to perform inventory counts and work in warehouse and production environments as needed.

Preferred

• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with barcode scanning systems and inventory tracking technology.
• Forklift experience.

Schedule & Pay
• $18.50 per hour
