Shipping and Receiving Associate
Location: Billerica, MA
Salary: $20 per hour
Hours: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, M-F
This is a Full Time, Temp position

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving areas and maintain quality and productivity
• Organize orders and material pulls to sustain an efficient workflow
• Safely operate forklifts, side loaders and/or cranes (where applicable) 
• Process incoming material including POs, interbranch, vendor, customer returns
• Interact with customers, logistics, and suppliers regarding materials and orders
• Maintain accurate inventory control and provide quality assurance
• Properly track and release material for backorders
• Observe required safety procedures and report any safety issues
• Order shipping and packing supplies including skids, strapping and labels

 Qualifications & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification; side loader and overhead crane experience a plus
• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of RF Scanners
• Experience with UPS Worldship and Fed Ex shipping programs
• Familiar with safety procedures including OSHA, lock-out/tag-out
• Basic experience with power tools such as chop saw, banders, packaging
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a fast paced team environment 
• Lifting up to 50lbs
