Production Operator-Night Shift

Salary: 18.01-$20.01

Essential Duties:              Follow standardized work processes and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment

                                               Effectively carry out assigned tasks throughout the shift

                                               Visually Inspect products to ensure quality and customer specifications throughout the shift

Notify Lead if individual notices any issues with equipment or material on the production line.

Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift adhering to 5S practices

During plant downtime this position assists with plant housekeeping.

 

Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required:
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred; training provided
High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
Ability to read policies & procedure manuals
Ability to safely operate/use hand and power tools

Multi-task & be flexible with assignments
Must have general computer skill abilities to complete and/or update reports, work orders, etc
Experience with Microsoft Office Products a plus (Excel)
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts

Industrial plant setting subject to temperature fluctuations, dusty environment

100% of day spent standing, walking, bending or squatting

Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted

                                               40 hours paid sick time – prorated for 1^st year

                                               80 hours paid vacation 1 – 4 years of service; 120 hours 5+ years (prorated the first year based on hire date)
