Counter Sales Associate Needed!

 

A growing building materials supplier in Haltom City is looking to add a Counter Sales Associate to their team!

 

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Flexible Schedule Available)

 

Lunch: 1-Hour Lunch Break

 

Pay: $21.00-$23.00/hr DOE

 

Counter Sales Associate Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with purchasing and picking up merchandise
• Process and accurately fill sales orders
• Verify pick ticket ship dates and obtain customer signatures before releasing materials
• Provide customers with product information, pricing, and availability
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales counter and merchandise displays
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building strong customer relationships

Counter Sales Associate Requirements:

• 1+ years of customer service or counter sales experience required
• Contractor sales experience preferred
• Knowledge of building materials or products sold in a wholesale distribution environment preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer skills and order entry experience
• Ability to work in both an office and warehouse environment
• Comfortable working in a climate-controlled sales area and a non-climate-controlled warehouse
