Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Pay: $19-$21

Job description:

 The Document Processing Specialist is responsible for the research, verification, and preparation of construction notices called Preliminary Notices. These notices, when prepared accurately and completely, help our clients get paid more quickly and reliably. This position is part of the Document Processing Team and will collaborate with other Document Processors to effectively manage the workload of documents that need to be prepared. No previous knowledge or experience of Preliminary Notices is required, as training will be provided on how to perform the job responsibilities. This role reports to the Supervisor.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Research project information by being able to utilize online tools and databases to confirm the primary stakeholders on various construction jobs.
  • Verify project information by making contact with the General Contractor of the job by phone and email to ensure the accuracy of project information that was previously researched.
  • Prepare notices in accordance with the State Statutes.
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of construction notices effectively and efficiently in order to positively contribute to team goals.
  • Perform Quality Assurance checks of work and the work of team members to ensure that each notice is prepared with the highest levels of quality and excellence.
  • Offer customer support over the phone and in email and be able to troubleshoot issues quickly.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, administrative or office experience in a similar role
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with Mac applications, Google Business Suite, Slack, and managing a large volume of email.
