Part-Time Retail Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Associate to assist customers in our company merchandise store. The Retail Associate will help customers select apparel, gifts, branded merchandise, and other retail items while providing an exceptional shopping experience.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
• Assist customers in selecting merchandise that best fits their needs and preferences.
• Answer questions regarding products, pricing, and availability.
• Operate cash registers and process sales transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves and maintain attractive merchandise displays.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming merchandise.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Support promotional events and special sales activities as needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to customer service and store operations.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred

• Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or customer service.
• Experience assisting customers with product selection and recommendations.
