Temporary Recruiter

Location: Summerville, SC
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Duration: Temporary Assignment (6-8 Weeks)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Recruiter to support a high-volume hiring initiative for a growing manufacturing and operations environment in Summerville, SC. This short-term assignment will focus on sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for a variety of positions while partnering with hiring managers to meet critical staffing needs.

The ideal candidate is organized, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with multiple open requisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for hourly and professional positions.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
• Maintain candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
• Track applicant flow and ensure recruiting data is accurately maintained.
• Assist with job postings, candidate outreach, and recruiting events as needed.
• Support onboarding activities and pre-employment processes.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting experience required, preferably within manufacturing, operations, or industrial environments.
• Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet hiring deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
