Our Pickering client, one of the world’s largest signage companies, is looking for a DZ Driver/Sign Installer to join their growing team!

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and secure signage, bus shelters, and other branded structures at customer locations throughout Canada and the United States
• Drive and operate company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and installation crews to project sites
• Assist with site preparation (excavation, concrete work, anchoring systems, and structural assembly)
• Load, unload, and safely transport signage, tools, and installation materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, installation drawings, and work orders to ensure projects are installed according to specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, boom lifts, cranes, and other installation equipment
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and daily equipment checks, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
• Complete installation documentation, daily logs, travel records, and site reports accurately
• Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and comply with all PPE requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Travel to customer locations (overnight stays and cross-border travel)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Ontario DZ Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract
• Working at Height Certificate required
• Minimum 2-4 years of DZ driving experience
• Minimum 2-4 years of Installation, Construction, Sign Installation, or related trade experience
• Previous cross-country and cross-border driving experience required
• Valid passport and ability to travel freely between Canada and the United States
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and site plans
• Able to operate hand and power tools safely
• Strong hands-on and problem-solving skills
• Able to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs

Bonus Qualifications:

• Crane Operator Certification and experience operating cranes on job sites
• Elevated Work Platform (Boom Lift/Scissor Lift) Certification
• Trade school education, apprenticeship training, or technical education in construction, electrical, fabrication (asset)
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment (asset)

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Pay Rate: $27-30 per hour
