Web Developer (Part-Time/Contract)

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a growing local company in Wenatchee, WA to find a dependable Web Developer to join their team! If you enjoy building real-world applications, solving problems, and working in a collaborative environment without the corporate red tape, this could be the perfect opportunity.

This is an in-person position in Wenatchee. Remote work is not available.

What You'll Do

• Develop and enhance features for a custom web-based scheduling and booking application
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs while improving existing functionality
• Help optimize application performance and security
• Collaborate on database design and API integrations
• Follow coding best practices, documentation standards, and version control procedures
• Participate in technical planning and discussions with the development team

What We're Looking For

• Experience with PHP (Laravel with Livewire preferred) or similar MVC frameworks
• Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational databases
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working with APIs
• Familiarity with Git (GitHub or similar)
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and meet deadlines

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with React or Vue
• AWS or cloud hosting knowledge
• Experience with scheduling or booking systems
• SaaS or internal business application development
• Networking experience

Position Details

• Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour (DOE)
