Ingredient Tech Machine Operator! Swing Shift and 96% of Benefits Paid!

Job Summary:  Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring Machine Operators for a growing seafood manufacturing company! This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with competitive benefits, opportunities for advancement, and weekly overtime. This is a full-time position with opportunities for weekly overtime. Most of your time will be spent in a climate-controlled dry ingredient room with concrete floors, wearing required PPE including a lab coat, gloves, hairnet, rubber boots or shoe covers, and a dust mask. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, communicates effectively, adapts well to changing production needs, and takes initiative.

 

Compensation: $19.18 per hour, with a $1.00 shift differential

Shift: Swing Shift (1:00 pm - 9:00 pm), available all days of the week with rotating days off.

Position Type: Evaluation Hire

Location: Bellingham, WA

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately weigh quantities of ingredients
• Lifting 50lbs-75lbs. regularly
• Working in and out of the dry room and the production floor
• Follow detailed recipes
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels
• Document usage and lot numbers using electronic systems or paper
• Maintain cleanliness in the ingredient room
• Properly store unused ingredients
