Schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Position Type: Temporary Event Assignment
We are hiring experienced Prep Cooks for a community event held in an upscale hospitality and private-event environment.
Available Shifts:
Morning Shift: 2 Prep Cooks 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Evening Shift:5 Prep Cooks 2:00 PM Close
Closing time may be after midnight
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients and food items for banquet and event service
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and kitchen organization
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Assist chefs and other kitchen staff as needed
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance throughout the event
Requirements
- Previous prep cook, banquet, catering, or restaurant kitchen experience required
- Must be dependable and arrive on time for every scheduled shift
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available for the full scheduled shift, including late-night hours
- Must be professional, respectful, and team-oriented
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed
- This is an important community event, and selected employees will be representing
