We are seeking a dedicated Narrow Isle Reach Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for efficiently managing the movement and storage of goods within narrow aisle storage systems, ensuring smooth operations and optimal space utilization. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience with warehouse equipment, and a commitment to safety and accuracy. Shifts: Monday-Friday ( must be flexible to work days/night shifts as well)
Pay: $21-$23/hour + 4% vacation pay
Responsibilities
- Operate narrow aisle reach trucks safely and efficiently to retrieve, store, and organize inventory within confined warehouse spaces
- Utilize clamp trucks, forklifts, and order pickers to handle various types of warehouse materials
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Follow warehouse management system protocols for accurate inventory tracking and order picking
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety guidelines to prevent injuries
- Assist with order picking processes by selecting items according to customer orders with precision
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety standards are consistently met
- Support inventory counts and cycle counts as part of ongoing stock management efforts
- Apply basic math skills for verifying quantities, measurements, and calculations during operations
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as clamp trucks, forklifts, and order pickers
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of basic math for accurate order fulfillment and inventory control
- Prior experience working within a warehouse management system is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in diverse settings
- Must have 2 verifiable forklift references from previous employment
- This role is not transit accessible so having a car or reliable transportation is required
