Salary: $20-$23/hr DOE

We are seeking a Metal Shop Laborer for a manufacturing company in Fitchburg, MA. This position will support daily operations on the shop floor, helping to cut, form, inspect, and package metal products to specification.

 

Responsibilities:

• Operate shop equipment to cut, form, and process metal materials (training provided)

• Learn to safely use welding tools for basic fabrication tasks

• Inspect materials and finished products for accuracy and quality

• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment

• Participate in forklift training and certification to assist with material handling

• Support other shop duties as needed

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of previous manufacturing experience such as Machine Operation, Mechanical Assembly, etc. preferred
• Ability to regularly lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods

The schedule is Mon-Fri 7AM-4PM (with flexibility in schedule to start between 6am-7am). This is a full time position. The pay is $20-$23/hr depending on experience.
